How We Work Together
The process is straightforward and collaborative. There are no lengthy onboarding programmes or unnecessary complexity, just a clear path from first conversation to work underway.
01. Discovery & Define
We start with a conversation.
A free 30-minute discovery call is where we get to know each other and work out whether One Bird Co. is the right fit for your business. We'll talk through how things currently run, where support would be most useful, and what you're hoping to achieve.
There's no obligation and no pitch, just an honest conversation to make sure we're a good match before either of us commits to anything.
What to bring: A general sense of where things feel harder than they should, or where you'd like things to run more smoothly. You don't need to have it all figured out; that's what the call is for.
02. Proposal
You'll receive a clear proposal within a week.
Following the discovery call, I'll put together a proposal outlining the recommended scope of work, priorities and investment. Everything is clearly laid out so you know exactly what's included, what we'll focus on first, and what working together will look like in practice.
If anything needs clarifying or adjusting, we'll work through that together before moving forward.
03. Agreement
Straightforward from here.
Once you're happy with the proposal, we formalise the engagement with a simple service agreement. This protects both of us and confirms the scope, terms and any relevant details. It's a short, plain-English document, no surprises.
04. Handover & Kick-Off
We get started when the time is right.
Before work begins, we'll confirm priorities, timelines and any access or information I'll need to hit the ground running. The start date is agreed based on your situation and my current availability, so there's no unnecessary waiting and no rushed beginnings.
From there, work gets underway, and you'll start to notice the difference fairly quickly.
Working Style
Calm, consistent, and without extra noise in your day.
I work remotely and often asynchronously, which means work moves forward without constant check-ins or live meetings. You stay informed without being interrupted — progress happens in the background while you focus on running your business.
